I'm not! I can't watch TV or play Rock Band or Xbox cos it's just so damn cold in my conservatory living room! :(
I could use this to go outside and embrace the cold and throw a snowballs at a peoples face, hehe. But I got no one to go out with! If I do it to strangers they might do a chase on me!
Anyone else living in Brighton and doesn't have a snowball partner, contact me via 075... Oh wait, maybe just reply to this thread.
Everyone else, how are you enjoying the snow? :)
Someone threw a snowball at my window last night and it really made me jump! I thought it was The Terrorists at first, then looked out of the window and it was just the friendly Chineses next door. They're not threatening, they are adorable! Any snow-Chinese related stories welcomed in this thread.

haha, the terrorists >:( <---- grim looking terrorist i have a cold chinastory for this thread: chinamen in my town (or i believe chermans of chinese heritage is the politically correct terminus) ehm on new years eve a few men of the chinese restaurant nearby launched fireworks at their own restaurant´s windows and their wives or relatives inside were waving and yelling at them. was well funny^^
today i re-isolated a couple of my windowsills with silicone, to save a little heating.
that stuff stinks really nasty.
anyhow, just go out and have fun sliding and stomping! you might meet someone new or old who enjoys the snow aswell. im preparing for a walk too.

Hey man, I am comfy and fairly warm, have been reading a book about radical feminism today and one about domestic abuse too and playing Peggle and watching Curb You Enthusiasm. :)
That story about Chineses is well funny! :D Some Eastern people have a very different sense of humour to Westerners, I reckon. I bet that poor family really did think The Terrorists were attacking! Reminds me of the fireworks scene in Visitor Q. :)
Yeah, I heard someone bought some tape to seal their windows for £4. How much was the silicone? Sorry to hear your room stinks! My housemate wanted the heating on aaaaaall night, but I said no, cos it was unnecessary and would be too expensive. I did mention the heat being lost through windows, too. Silly Zakir...
Yeah, I might go out tomorrow if the snow is still there do some slidin' and stompin'! :D
How did your walk go? I felt like doing one, but it looks soooo cold!

peggles is a funny game! havent been given it a shot recently. good to hear youre warm.
i saw visitorq but have absolutely no memory of it!
dunno how much silicone is, had it lying around. it was past the date, so i slit open the package and cut pieces out. it was still a little fluid inside and that stank horribly, but i guess it always does.
snow was wonderful! had a chill walk with some saw2 on the ears and went into the woods/park, watched the deer eat and stretch and caress each other with distant childrens laughter etc..
i was pretty cold in the face after about 30 mins. so if you have a scarf dont be too macho to leave it at home
^^

I envy you. I'm on the east coast of Canada and we still haven't gotten any decent snow. A couple of little sissy snows but nothing worth shoveling. It's creepy.

I'm sure you'll get some soon, mate.
Advocate, whatta you mean by this? It is snowing quite a lot here, whatta you want? My uni was closed, I couldn't even read my radical feminism book; missed out on the chapter I wanted to read about African genital mutilation and EVERYTHING! :'(

I was thinking about you today. Was gonna dedicate a thread to you, asking if the snow has brought out your awareness of the lighter side of life.
Apparently not. :(

Wow, were there really deer having sex? :O Sounds idyllic, lulz.
Yeah, I like it when your face gets cold. Victorians used to have cold baths and put sheets soaked in cold water on themselves to stimulate blood flow. I think it makes people look healthier and happier when their faces are red from being out in the snow. :) Or if sometimes their red noses make them look like alcoholics. :(
I went to the bank today to deposit a cheque, but when I got there it was closed! :'( And the walk back made my hands really cold. Did you get out today and how is the silicone holding up?

they were not having sex, no!^^ just necking around. of course i would have been discreet and left if it was going somewhere.
as stimulating the cold may be it does not improve your appearance when your nose is consantly running so thin fluid that you couldnt even keep it in..
stayed inside this afternoon and played starcraft2. silicone is doing just fine, smells gone, but the window- frames are shit aswell so i dont know if its brought much effect.
couldnt you just throw the cheque into the letterbox?

I struggled into work the last couple of days, yesterday involving a near 3 hour trek via bus and DLR going in, to say nothing of coming back, but today I said "No more!" and worked from home (and I did actually work from home).
Now I am tired and lonely and begging you, or indeed anyone, for sex.

its even more ridiculous in germany, while bavaria and southern germany do excellent, the rest of us is helpless like a baby when the temperature drops a little beyond the usual. roads are mostly cleaned but still theres lots of chaos, especially with public transportation.
