I searched and i dont think anyone has posted this so here goes... Moby was in seattle today, being interviewed on 107.7 the End, a local "alternative" radio station. Anyway he stated that at the Area 2 concert festival this year (last year there was Area 1) , David Bowie has been signed on to headline. of course Moby will also be there and he mentioned one other band that i can't remember at the moment. He also said that they are negotiating with several other bands. Anyway, its like a big lolapalooza type concert with mostly electronic artists i think right? I didn't go to it last year; i think DMX crew was there; but i will deffinately be goin this year. David Bowie at the Gorge in Wa. I can't wait. |

Bowie is king dammit. Live he is the master, no joke. I've seen him live about 10 times now since 1983, hes unbeatable. Bowie and Aphex, both my absolute favorite artists... |

It hasn't been officially announced so there are no links. Only info i have heard is what Moby said on the radio yesterday. the third artist that i couldn't come up with yesterday is BUsta Rhymes. Moby said a formal announcement will come in the next couple weeks. so if anyone hears anything, post it on this thread. |

The electronica scene should have like a Lolapoloosa or a Ozzfest. I would be called Girllfickngiig482833.949 and the whole Warp crew from Ae to AFX to Brothomstates to Anti Pop Consortium would go and play tracks back to back for 4 days in a row!!!!! |

LeCoeur thanks for that link. I cant wait for this show, especially if the Wa show is at the gorge. That place is so beautiful. i saw radiohead there last summer and also the the NIN fragility tour there. With the sun setting and the gorge as a backdrop to the stage; the temp about 70 F; a light breeze; absolutely amazing. Moby said in the Interview yesterday that he thought the Gorge Amphitheatre is literally the most beautiful venu in the world so i would guess the show will be there. |

Damn....i wanted to see NIN there....i saw the pic's of the venue. i saw NIN 9 times during fagility .....but not there.....waaaaaaaahhh also i saw Radiohead the day after/before at Thunderbird Statium in Vancouver at UBC.....ehehhe. i wanted to go to the gorge as well but my friend couldnt go......waaaaaah but i will be there........this time....esp for bowie.....*drool* |
