The first ten minutes or so with Father Merrin in Iraq is so
awesome. The rest is good too but man, what an opening

Hearing the dogs snarling in the background with the
presence of the Pazuzu statue was so tight. Me favorite

I first watched it in the middle of the afternoon and
thought (ok- maybe if the lights were down it would be
scary. However, since then I have seen it again and seen the
other one and I enjoyed both. Still not sure about the
scare-factor though.
