But if the remake is bad, then when people who liked the original watch it again, they will associate it with the badly made remake and this will taint their enjoyment of the original Akira FOREVER. A lot is at stake! :O And how can a movie which lasts about 1.5 hours "live up to" a manga, which is hundreds of pages in length? Same problem with books, but it is always an ambitious thing to do, which will never be 'lived up to'. Just one of those things... |
