Buy bottle water and organic food , completely switch it
around , buy vitamin tabs b12 + calcium.

maybe treat yourself to other things. buy one of the things
you've always wanted with the saved money.

hot bath every night , keep occupied.

throw out all bottles of beer and cans.

drink lots of water. 2 litres a day , aprox 50p in
bottle water
calidonian or highland spring.

flush your body out with water.

eat very well.

Dude don't buy bottled water, tap water is perfectly
drinkable and you won't have to waste (and ingest traces of)
plastic.

I'm pretty wasted now, but I can't imagine being an
alcoholic. But I can imagine being a super stoner. Or at
least a moderate stoner. Or I have been a stoner. I
haven't been drunk in ages, but now I am remembering that
the retarded nature of alcohol is fucked. Dyaaamn, I'm
farked.

Weed is loverly, though.

The cure for alcoholism is quality ganj, yo.

enjoy some activities that dont work as good with a bottle
of red intus, so it makes sense to not drink, like reading
for example.
i dont think its too good to have one bottle every evening.
people i know who do drink amounts like that after work dont

cope too well and it doesnt make them happy either.
just think of some fun things you could do without it .-)
so dont spoil alcohol for yourself by abusing it too much.

About a week ago I managed to go 3 days without drinking.
Then I drank for 4 days in a row. I didn't drink yesterday
and I am hoping I don't drink again today.

I have gone back and forth about whether or not I should
drink at weekends (with people), without always drinking to
get drunk but I don't know if I have that kind of
self-control. I feel like it's one of those things that I
need to just stop in its entirety. I mean the fact that I
should have to think of it like this and note the days I
haven't had a drink shows me I have a bit of a problem.

Also I agree with griffin, bottled water is lame. I only
ever drink tap unless I desperately need a drink of water
from a shop.

friend of mine who drank every night quit for a whole year.
prolly was easier to deal with it than drinking
occasionally
in between. he was able to enjoy drinking on weekends after
that again, but began drinking alone about 5 years later
again.
i think if he led another life he wouldnt have fallen back
to it.

i don't think drinking a bottle of red wine every night
makes you an alcoholic, though it doesn't mean it's okay
either.

A bottle a day? Supposed to cut heart disease, but increases
chances of cancer and liver damage. It's also an extra 4000
calories a week, so you might end up a fat fuck.

As crazyhorse says, in moderation razor, in moderation. It's
like red meat, under 500g a week, a good source of protein,
a lot more often and it's cancer of the anus!

How old are you? Are you living on your own, roommate,
single, dating, married?

A bottle of red a night could be considered almost normal
for a privileged American college student, while it is
almost certainly a sign of alcoholism for a 40yr old
unemployed man with three children.

It's all about priorities - and context.

for a while i was drinking 2 bottles of beer almost every
night. then i started gaining weight. i was slightly
underweight before so i wasn't fat. however, being able to
observe how i grow a beer-gut and how my face becomes more
and more like an amoprhic fat mass, made me stop.

Did you ever lose the fat face? A lot of people have told me
that even after losing weight their fat face remained. Now I
call them my fat-faced friend.

i have tried to quit. been successful in a couple of
attempts at a month of weekends only, which ended with me
going back to regularity. then i have gone an entire month
without a couple of times but to revert back to set ways.

i hate my drinking, and yet rely on it as a form of
escapism/entertainment/numbing from the banality of life.
much like a few different drug choices of my past.

my self loathing and boredom drive my excuses for not
continiuing going without, when really i know it is holding
me back from focusing on what i really desire.

it is a part time momentary fix for every and any problem.

i never started drinking regular until i was 27, and like my
cause for drinking, my cure will likely be to find yet
another substitute, for the same reasons, that damages me
just as much.

i am cunt.

I was gonna recommend that you celebrate with a drink, but
then I realized that the joke might push you over the edge
and into binge drinking of fury.

And then you would blame me for unleashing the föckin'

i mentioned water cause it is what you body needs to heal
and also going to the shop to buy a bottle of water is a
good substitute. but tap water is o.k for you too.

if you can enjoy water. knowing it is healing you , 1.5
litres a day you'll feel so much better,. your skin will
improve and show you that it really is a good thing.
