Yes. Everything is relative. If one puts their arm out and
pays attention, it is possible to see the galaxies between
the face and fingertips. "Normal size" is actually also
massive size. And also "microscopic" size.

anyone remember that interactive flash presentation when we
zoom down to the nucleus of an atom and out to the edge of
the universe.

that was great. anyone got that link?

That's wicked. It's the kind of thing that would benefit
from a biiiig screen.

The weird thing about that presentation ,that took a while
for me to really appreciate: is that when we zoom in or out
, we are not actually zooming past anything...we are just
getting closer to a flat image (like a very fine grade piece
of paper) increasing magnification , rather than actually
moving forward or backwards past objects...like we do when
we walk past objects or fly past things in computer games.

is it just me or is that totally bizzare to get y head
around. ?

That's one freaking high grade piece of paper. ( wheres the
grain?!! lol )

syntax and coherence

That was fun, Freqs. First it made me feel really small and
sad, then I saw the sun and thought 'i like you, cos you
mean i am alive'. :)

then I saw the earth and I smiled too.
