''oh yeah,i forgot that when an electronic musician becomes
popular,we are supposed to hate them''
There's nothing that seperates Moby's newest from the other pop trash. Catchy tune, glossy production, cheesy lyrics, its got it all. I don't hate it because its popular, I hate it because it made me want to run and worship the porcelain god.

I think this is what happens when artists get popular and lazy...especially the latter. They start thinking their music is great cause more people are listening to it...*'wrong' buzzer noise* Wrong! If you start noticing more and more young people come to hear your music you know something is wrong.

i hate the fact that Moby put 50% effort in the making of this new album...i read his interview in WIRE and he says something within the lines: "this is a good album, if you pretend Play never existed, this is a great album"...what!? what a bad way of promoting your new album...and anyways, Play was bad enough...ugh..that Body Rockin song!? he samples the ugliest vocals

There's one song from him called Whispering Wind. I dled it cause I cannot find the cd that song is on!! (I heard the song on my uncles' tv. Those music channels from Galaxy. It was on the ambient channel) Whatever the case that song has to be THE best song of his. Its so sweet and lovely.

Play got so popular because the album kicks ass. Everything is wrong was also good. I think Moby started going downhill when he collaborated with Gwen Stephanie pointlessly and the "We Are All Made Of Stars" IS lacking the Soul everything before that point had. I am not judging the new album by the first single... he has to have put some soul into at least one song on it.

Ophecks: Every one of Moby's albums have been radically different, which is why 18 is going to be such a disappointment. If you can find it for download (the cd's been discontinued), try and get voodoo chile : The End of Everything. It's incredible.
