I've been better but I've been a lot worse. I am either
about to achieve a highly exploratory sexual and cultural
synthesis, or just run out of steam.

I hope all's well with you.

having a wank?

Yes, I'm well thanks. :)

What do you do for a living, btw? And have you heard of
Freezepop? I am doing a listen on them atm.

I'm watching The Fog on ITV4 at the moment and for now
that's a cultural climax for me. For a living I am a very
run of the mill "Front end developer" currently trying to
position myself as either a User Experience guru or some
other BS consultant but my heart's not in it so I will
probably follow my other friends into being a bin man (just
as they're being laid off).

Ah right, sad times. :(

Sounds like you have an okay job atm though. Do you work
from home? I always thought that would be gd, but in the
last year of being in the house all the time I changed my
mind. It's nice to be out of the house, cos it makes you
appreciate where you live, especially your room. Otherwise
you just end up hating your surroundings.

John Carpenter's horror film sounds gd. If I could be
bothered to go downstairs and it was warmer down there I
would watch it too. Sorry to hear that's highlight of your
day, my friend. :( If it makes you feel better, I made a
friend recently called Daniel Gregory. He is funny. :) He's
like the friend I've always wanted- quite geeky, quirky and
humorous without trying to be, y'know? You just need to find
a Daniel Gregory to enrich your life.

The Fog starts out great, has some good scares and kinda
falls apart halfway through. It ain't no The Thing or Prince
of Darkness.

C'mon Tractern, everyone knows that Steinvordhosbn IS
everyones Daniel Gregory.
Except more sexed up.
And possibly more scathing.

I'm not scathing Ats, I'm a broken man. The ignominy that I
have put myself and everyone through. The depths I have
endeavoured to scrape the bottom of to find deeper depths.
This purgatorial service station I now find myself in is the
last stop to load up on party eggs, beer and girly mags
before the long haul through hell. Follow your dreams, but
don't confuse that with sleepwalking through life.

That's sad, Stein. :(

Get out of the house more often and eat some fruit. This
would work for me I think, although everyone is different I
suppose.

<3

What's a party eggs, btw?

Like Scotch Eggs but smaller. Small scotch eggs you can eat
at a party, on the go, each individual mini scotch egg is
easily consumable in one mouthful, so as no to impinge on
your socialising. Unlike a full-on Scotch Egg which requires
stamina and commitment and should only be eaten on picnics
or in board meetings.

I do still like that Furniture track very much so.
Earthleakage is another one who fondly brings that up.

I do like The Sisters of Mercy very much indeed aslo, and
still have many 12"s of theirs that survived The Vinyl Cull
of 2003. My fave track of theirs is the full length version
of Neverland which came out on the re-issue, after
previously only being a "fragment". I have never heard of
The Sound but I am remedying that now.

I am sorry to big, but no one in their right mind wants to
read my status. Latest update is I have just been informed
that I am to be made redundant. One does so like to keep up
with the fashion and for a while I thought I was going to
get left behind but no, I'm back at the cutting edge of
being fashionably "let go".
