Apparently this band used over 10,000 stop animation frames
in their music video. It is only a short promo clip, but it
is really cool. Hadn't heard of them before, but looking on
youtube, they seem to have quite a following. What do you
think?

Unfortunately, the music actually is taking away from the
video... Video is aiiight. But note that when using masks
to create vignettes, the effect is not perceptually linear,
so unless you increase the contrast in the darker-vignette
areas, the image becomes flat, which loses depth and
interest value. The flat vignettes can be done for effect,
but since the photos contain somewhat shallow depth of
field, you're essentially taking away the value of the depth
that was intentionally shot (else the photos would've been
shot at higher f-stop).

I think they should have used a video camera it would have
been simpler and less time-consuming (haven't watched the
video).
