I don't think I'll ever be "an adult/a man". Granted, I have testicles and pubic hair on my eyeballz, but even if I become especially responsible, keep to the highest of moral standards, and fight 12 wars with my bare hands, I will still want to always laugh and enjoy beauty and throw caacaa at old ladies cuz their perfume smells like shit. I think true "adulthood" is some sort of selling out to the concept of fatigue, along with the inherent forgetting of what it means to have fun and how important it is to one's happiness. Like some parents who've smoked weed for 20 years, and then they have kids and tell them not to smoke it in high school. RIGHT THERE- there's a huge hypocrisy, and the parents automatically differentiate themselves as some sort of separate class, when they were actually the same. Fucking lame ass "adults" - totally, forgot, everything. If there is ever a world war between people who want to stay up to play video games and the people who believe it's best to go to bed before 11 PM, I'm joining the TRUE SIDE. ...not the fucking lame-robot programmed side who forgot how to dance because they don't have the instruction manual. Fuck the "adult world", cuz all they do is make shit lame for kids. And kids are the future, so all the adult world is doing is making the future's childhood lame. Our future deserves better. That being said, I believe in respect and being responsible. ...well-mannered older-aged children iz me, I suppose. |
