When I was a teppan yaki chef in Florida, I was talking to some dude about electronic music, and he was all, "You ever hear of squarepusher? Crazy isn't it?!", like we were talking about lightning ballz or UFOs. But yah, I wonder if after this project, all the "hip kids" will get into squarepusher's back catalog, and then everyone in the underground will facepalm and sigh the SIGH OF DESPAIR. But I suppose all the oldies feel the same way about Beatles? Like, "You kids don't know Beatles!!! I was listening to them when they were a backup band with 12 members- 3 of them black women! GET OFF MY LAWN!!!" |
