dont read if you want to stay happy.
had a chilling read tonight. imagine if we were slaves and we didn't know it, in a way we could not comprehend , another species or alien using us and our people to get energy and products from , in the process cancer, starvation earthquakes , Pesticides in food ,war and early death was a part of this to increase efficiency.
i read about how humans enslave bees to make honey. i knew it was wrong from my view, but i didn't realise how dirty and perverted the process was.
heres a snip: " Honey is produced by bees as a food source to sustain the hive through dry periods when there are few flowers and then through the winter.
To harvest it bees are gassed and many die from that. Many others try and defend their colony's food supply and attack the bee-keepers.But their stings get caught in the protective suit and they are disembowelled.Yet more bees are crushed by the machine that harvests honey from the comb.
They honey is replaced by sugar water but this is not as ideal a food source as honey and so it often doesn't last the winter which means many commercial bee hives suffer massive population crashes in winter.
The queen of the colony is regular killed and replaced by a younger queen to keep productivity at the top level. The new queen is artificially fertilised with sperm gathered from what the bee-keepers consider to be the 'ideal drone' to produce the best offspring.Chemicals are used to keep the colony clean.
So basically yes it is cruel and nowhere near as natural as it is made out to be. "
errgg, ....ergrg. i am so ashamed of my species.

“The implications of the spread are alarming. Most of the world’s crops depend on pollination by bees. Albert Einstein once said that if the bees disappeared, “man would have only four years of life left."

Bees aren't humans. I don't know where you got your text, but bees getting "disembowelled" is a pretty silly way to put it.

they die trying to protect their own kind and lose part of their body when they sting, . one little mistake jump on that and twist and distort the message. eat honey if you wish. it is rather tasty. so sweeet and runny.

I didn't jump on one little mistake, the whole thing is silly. Bees don't function like humans and I think it's insulting to assume they do. And they are not gassed. And beekeepers who aren't idiots are usually careful not to kill any bees. I'm sure there's unscrupulous overproduction like everywhere else, but this is making is sound like beekeeping is inherently cruel, which is bullshit. Bees are bees. This is the kind of shit that brings people to scold their cat if they kill mice because it's cruel.
I think your heart is in the right place freqy, but you get caught up in far too much irrelevant or counter-productive crap. Don't get emotional about everything you read on the Internet.

it doesn't insult me, it insults bees : ) but what do they care anyway, insult away (bees don't look after one another, your humanizing them again. they function as one organism and unproductive bees will be left to die no problem)

if a multinational knew he could make money out of your nipple ....he would clone you and your mother in underground labs , milk you and your twins for as long as it was efficient.

Freqy watches too many cartoons, she anthropomorphizes bees like Walt Disney. The sad bit is Walt left a legacy but freqy will leave nothing.

I worked with the bees a couple of times. the smoke is to keep them relaxed so they say. I hate smoke myself so I guess bees dislike it to. we are already enslaved, by our own kind. also "unproductive bees will be left to die no problem", dont we, when looked at as "one organism", inflict the same on some people? your boss would. Im "beeizing" humans, sorry.

bees die, it doesn't matter. people die, and it doesn't matter. NOTHING fucking MATTERS!!! death is the only truth in life. reality, your perception of it is wrong, it does not matter. you will die. everyone you know will die. none of it matters. i will die and these words will not matter. nobody cares.
