I'm happier living in my fogged delusion. In my mind, Brian
Eno pre-1990 is a completely different one to Brian Eno now.

About time WARP returned to their roots, once again leading
the way in promoting new and exciting music by new and
exciting artists. Respect.

he was a great electronic musician back in the old days when
electronic music wasn't even discovered yet.

AHAHAHA...

Though when info of Vincent Gallo on warp was first out, we
were all still able to question the label and shit... Now
everyone just makes fun of warp, like 75% of the time.

It's incredible that so many of us considered warp some sort
of label safe shelter back in the day. ...Buying releases
based on label alone and being pleased. That's a fucking
awesome reputation to ruin so awesomely.

It's like if Jimi Hendrix spent his last years trying to
break into the gay porn industy with trademark nunchakus and
shit. ...It'd have broken too many hearts.

That's imo because they are not releasing what we are
searching for...we need inspiring new labels! F.e. sublight
or skam.tiger beat etc releasing more stuff we want so we
can make 90% off the time fun off warp!

Brian Eno has a new album on the way.

We don’t have much in the way of details yet – but
there’s a post up about it on guitarist/composer Leo
Abraham’s site:

Lastly, there’s an album out soon by Brian Eno, with
myself and Jon Hopkins. It will be on Warp. It contains the
fruits of several years of jams between the 3 of us.

I’ve not heard anything quite like it – it sounds
‘live’ and ‘alien’ at the same time. Some things
have been permitted to survive which only Brian would have
had the courage to let go, and it’s so much the better for
it.
