Just listened it, heard it, wholly holy, while reading (400 pages printer's proof). It's a fantastic album. Perhaps I'm now, finally, ready for it, its pulse, ocean, world. Previously I've only listened to singular tunes, I have found it (as often with AFX albums) incohesive. But I now discover it isn't. I needed force – work discipline – to listen it through. A great discovery, an epiphany. Music lives. Long live the Aphex Twin! |
