For instance, all of instructors at college wh oare
politically involved see China as some sort of global
threat, their kids are smarter and more driven, their
disciplinary leadership provokes incentive to be a
superpowerful nation, power to the state.

Technology, Industry, and Invention in America and Britain
was about discovery and the wonders of the explorative human
experience, not some predatorial scheme to be the best.
(although in the past 50 years it's hard to say that)

Thinking about china makes me sad to see that they are all
slaves off the goverment. Freedom is relative but it still
isnt there imo.

China is becoming more capatalist than we are, since the
early 80s there has been eccomonic reforms which made it
possible for more people to get into business. you're tutors
are right, China is becoming a super power, it's ecconomic
growth is currently faster than any other country. You can
even see how their cities are growing, the biggest migration
is happening right now, with millions of peple moving into
the cities.. While i stayed in Nanning i noticed the
commercial district Minzu dao dao had allot of new
buildings, big sky srapers which look brand new, and more in
contruction

hahaa...

it's easy to make weak judgements from the comfort of your
armchairs. maybe you have half a point, less even, but give
the chinese a little more credit. and don't fool yourself
about your own situation either.

I seriously hope China is going to learn the West a lesson
or two on how economies work. There's this smell in the air
that the way Western societies think things should work, is
just a limited - free market/commercially sponsored - way of
thinking.

That UFO wasn't a UFO it was a rocket, I see the same thing
here in cali, and the news always reports the next day of a
rocket launch from van guard afb... do the research, scratch
the surface and you'll find the truth. (:
