So I bought a pair of Skullcandy GI's they broke within 3-4
months, Shit bass, speaker blew etc...
I thought I might ask you guys where I could find a pair of
headphones that are fairly alright for the price of about
40-75.

these for listening to music casually. you will be
really suprised how much better shit sounds when u invest
quite a bit in your phones

Chodi, this thread makes me sad.

I used to think you were cool until you started off a thread
with "So" and said you wanted to buy some Sony headphones...
bad grammar (which is forgiveable) and lack of knowledge in
good headphones (not forgiveable), especially for an
XL-er...

I'm not sure we can be best mates in the world EVER! Any
more... :(

these headphones are nice I haven't tried these specific headphones
tbh, but I have some AKG headphones and they are really
nice. :)

Yes I know laughs to Skullcandy, and the picture mohamed
posted are the same pair lol.
@cygnus
I would love to spend a lot of money on headphones, but I am
trying to bargain for a "cheap" pair of headphones that are
reasonably good for under 100$. I have to buy an iPod or
some other portable piece of junk that plays music first
then a keyboard
all within 300$...its birthday money :P I'm only turning
18.

@Tractern
:( I am sad to hear that my stupidity is keeping us from
being friends. At least Sony is a step up form Skullcandy,
And thanks!
for the link I am very interested in these headphones.
I knew someone here would find something good thats why I
posted it here ^_^

their sound quality isn't crazy good out the wazoo or
anything, but if you're on a budget koss phones are decent
enough, and come with a no questions asked lifetime
warranty.

ive broken mine (entirely my own fault) three or four times
(over 7 or 8 years) have each time i send them a cheque for
$7 for s&h and in a couple weeks ive got a brand new pair of
cans.

I really enjoy my new AKG K 530 phones that I bought for
less than 50£ after I broke my beloved Denon AH-D1001 set a
few weeks ago. The K 530s are a bit big and unpractical to
use with my iPod, but they sound GREAT and that's what I
really care about. I also have the AKG K 701 for my sound
system, but that's a completely different story....
