I've been listening since yesterday's review in "The Sun"
(true fact). A GOOD Album.

I do very much like Round and Round, just to be specific.

You can find similar stuff if you click around
here for that "Hauntological" sound.

Little Jivver was the first to introduce me to Ariel, bless
him. Good link there to Hauntology as well. He's the gift
that keeps on giving.

"The Ballad Of Bobby Pyn" was the one, yes.

Pffft I've been wittering on on your facebook update when
there's a thread here. Yeah he's brilliant. Recommendations
from the latter half of his discography? I've not bought
anything since House Arrest came out.

I think I have played "Fright Night (Nevermore)" A LOT OF
TIMES. I keep thinking it's going to slip into Pat Benetar's
"Love is a Battlefield"

fright night is amazing. The production kills on this album,
it just works so well.

ok, imo, none of the other albums are as coherent as this
one. I like FF and Worn Copy. But a lot of other people like
The Doldrums LP, so...

hah..

funny thing is.. i never could get into this band. until
earlier this week when i put on The Doldrums in a really
fucked up, drunk and angry mood.

i instantly fell in love with it.

it's sad, sad music which accentuates a bad mood/trip.

I fucking love The Doldrums. Have only heard bits and
pieces of anything else, though. What is this "Fright
Night"? Song? Album? You've piqued my interest.
