A lot of it is bad. Whimpering like a hurt dog bad. But a
lot doesn't necessarily have to mean a majority. It's the
parts that make you feel happy like today, for me, that
count and are worth all other hazards.

hehehe
How do the Brits say it?

THAT IS ALL

Oh guys. I was taking about 'that is all'

I mean, that's a common British...ism? So much so, it's like
an internet thingy everywhere. It's international or
something. I don't know. But I think you know what I meant
and you are just 'having a laugh.'

'That is all'? like an order or something? as in 'that is
all, piss off serving wench'? I don't think it's a british
phrase, sounds like common english to me.

Is that all there is, is that all there is?
If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing
Let's break out the booze and have a ball
If that's all there is

I know what you must be saying to yourselves,
if that's the way she feels about it why doesn't she just
end it all?
Oh, no, not me. I'm in no hurry for that final
disappointment,
for I know just as well as I'm standing here talking to
you,
when that final moment comes and I'm breathing my last
breath, I'll be saying to myself

Is that all there is, is that all there is
If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing
Let's break out the booze and have a ball
If that's all there is

It isn't a British/English thing? Really? Americans don't
say it in regular conversation. But they do type it on
internet message boards. Also, whilst. I never heard this
word until recently. Is it used more now to add
differentiation between our form of English and yours? I
really don't know. And taking the piss. What's that all
about!?

One time in life, I put my life in this girl's life, and we
lived.

(but you also gotta think of the literal sexual aspect of
that, and then it all comes together...)
