...and they start in about 2 hours. I feel a bit alone, but
I am excited as fuck.

Oh yeah? Noted. I've been waiting for this moment for 10
years now, never seen them live before.

Enjoy Rob Halls set, it was much better than AE last night.

Autechre's first gig in Sweden, but Copenhagen lays nearer
me. A spectacular show, from first tune to last, somewhat
sacral in Copenhagen Concerthall. Russell Haswell offered me
the greatest entertainment, but of course you have to have a
basic appreciation for noise music. Rob Hall was very solid,
as this Didjit DJ. Autechre was a dream, the touch of
another world which laws I can never grasp. It wasn't
extatic, it wasn't a rave, it was surreal and wounderful.

Oh, it was good. My ears are proper fucked. I met Rob on the
way to the robe, and all I could say was "Thank you so much,
I've been waiting 10 years for this." He replied "Sorry" and
I just said "Thats ok." My legs are still shaking. I can now
leave this world.

NICE dude, I missed them last time they came through cali
..a friend who saw them was all disappointed which made it
even worse. I had no cred in arguing how badass it probably
was.

A friend saw them in Japan and said Rob Hall was better than
ae. Total fail. Would have slapped her if I was in the
vicinity.

I loved it. I was even such an embarrising fanboy so I
thanked them and shook hands afterwards (sean: "nah, that
was nothin' ") - and as viktor said: "I can now leave this
world." :D

Yeah, he said "sorry" and walked on to the wardrobe,
probably left the backdoor. But it was all good, he wasn't
being arrogant, I actually thought it was kinda funny. And
not exactly like I had imagined, actually standing in front
of my idols, talking to them.

Yeah, Russel was brutal, I was standing at the bar trying to
get a beer when he got on, the bartender made a face and
went to get earplugs.

Rob Hall was a funny chap as well, he blocked my camera lens
and laughed when I tried to photograph Ae! Which was a bit
of a bitch, being it almost pitch black in the hall, and the
only light coming from their laptops.. Even with f1.4 and
ISO set to 3200.. I will try to post some of the least
shitty ones at flickr tho.

Oh, and Hall's set was really nice. Downloaded a
mix from his webpage, but haven't listened to it
yet, should be good.

I felt that way too. :-) I even went to the toilet and
changed to my newly bought Oversteps t-shirt.. It was like
christmas, new years eve and my birthday at the same time.

I wanna see voktor in his new Autechre t-shirt

"sorry"

hahahahaha, they are one of the only big IDM heads that
still puts out music and try to perfect their cds, its just
funny how their live shows can sound like abstract and
noise, even the live shows ive heard

sorry.

I was there yesterday as well, and i thought it was
completely fucking amazing. A very very special,
indescribable, time warping experience. I couldn't stop
smiling. It was a 90 minute set but it felt more like 15
minutes, so intense.

I saw them a few years back at roskilde festival, which was
really good too but nothing like this. Yesterday was in a
nice small club with people dedicated to the music, so i
guess that made a lot of difference.

The whole night was really fun too. There was sort of an
after party where i had a great discussion about
architecture and music with Rob. Partied on until 7 so i
have a really bad headache. But fuck, this concert was
really something. Almost beyond music. A shame that the
tickets were so cheap

Please share his thoughts on "architecture and music".
Weren't the Autechre brothers or Russell Haswell attending?

Lucky bastard, that. I was overwhelmed just to see them and
shake their hands, tho. I still get a bit nervous just
thinking about it. Is that normal? Gonzola, can you hook me
up at the next afterparty? That would be sweet. I can buy
the icecream!

I danced a lot, but I didn't enjoy Autechre much as I
thought I could have done.

Plus they started late and finished early, then the other
scratching, rap sort of guy came on again and I didn't
really like him that much.

Was Rob Hall the one that did the noisy set that was noisy?
If so, I think it was good. :)

Glad others enjoyed Autechre, though.

I felt that I had achieved my potential in life after I saw
5 hours of AFX live and met him. I stand by that outlook to
this day. ;)

Play RAE!! Play RAE!! haha. I'm old school.

Another thing that was really good was that they turned down
the lights so i was quite dark during the gig. There was
only you and the music, like an abstract story that you went
through, sort of like a fever delusion, minus the bad stuff.
A simple thing but a very effective trick.

Recycle, you got it all wrong, I don't know them or
anything. So no ice cream sharing going on whatsoever:)
