cool

well to start the resolution is pretty bad, but the main
idea works, The hands/fingers don't look correctly rendered
which takes away from it, and the mountains in the backdrop
would be better drawn like the faces, (more dynamic and less
simplified in line)

Very VERY useful. Thanks a bunch! I've been drinking coffee
and staring at that thing for too long, and you nailed it.
Thanks!

Honestly, I think if you made the background more detailed
it would become too busy...

I am thinking the exact opposite, make the lines smoother to
bring it more esthetically in line with the ground. Or do
the exact opposite, and made the floor look hand drawn,
bringing it in line with the mountains.

And lower the horizon a little.

Yeah i don't think the bakground should be detailed like the
faces, but that same quality of line, instead of that really
flat look, it's competing with the figures in the
foreground, you're going to want to make it go back in
space, reference some atmospheric perspective pictures.

Thanks a bunch. I've looked at it this morning with fresh
eyes, and made some adjustments. Got some perspective into
play.

New new new

definitely an improvement. way to hide the hands with posing
:P - i lived with a comic book illustrator who was often
guilty of the same thing.

Haha, yes. I actually know how to draw hands in a realistic
way, it's just a hassle. I find hands especially
uninteresting when it comes to comic book style. When you
draw naturalistically, they can have some interesting
features. I get why they gave Mickey Mouse 4 fingers....

You could just ignore the hand issue altogether and make
them squares. It would fit with the rest of the picture.

well im right so listen to me.
the first one was better;
*the mountains are a nicer colour and the lines dont
distract but 'hold hands' with the foreground.
*i prefer the hands and arms. they are obvs less shit than
the second one.
*i prefer the positioning of the guys
*dont like the clouds, prefer the stars.
seriously the first one is all good
