steroids?

I am sure they will add some new features to the sequencer
and param lock function. no doubt they'll put some new
effects and editing options. hopefully i could have 2
patterns going and be able to xfade between them -- or have
sounds on A and B and fade between them within one single
pattern

their site is broken due to 'massive interest in new
products'

ye i don't know what i'm talking about anyway, never touched
a MD or in fact anything Elektron. The demo was a bit
non-wow though?

'nother vid not much better than the last one

pic

after taking a look at the pic it seems like you have two
scenes. scene A and scene B. when you load a sample into one
of the tracks you've probably got the option to say its on A
or B which is pretty cool

it seems like even though its' only 8 tracks on the display
matrix and those buttons, on the grid you've got two sets of
T1-T8 . so maybe you've actually got 16?

apparently it's RRP is going to be €1200, pricy enough but
to be expected. Shame the elektron demo's are always so
weak. i guess we'll prolly have to wait 2 years till the
next ae album to hear what it can really do:p

it reminds me of a hardware version of NI Maschine and
Traktor combined. I'm very curious to see and use one in a
production environment.

I recently picked up a UW and have been playing loops in
Traktor and running them into the UW and building out track
experiments. The solution seems very powerful, but I would
imagine using the Octatrack it would be possible to do
something like that without the use of a computer.

Definitely an interesting device...
