anyone use either of these VST instruments? what do you think? theyre both very CPU intensive. ps a lot of aphex sounds are from DX7 (which these plugs emulate)
so tell me please

FM7 is one of the best sounding VSTIs ever IMHO and very flexible, an expensive masterpiece.
FM Heaven sounds OK and can emulate the DX7 quite nicely, an inexpensive good synth IMHO.

they both load dx patches, have you compared them to an original hardware dx7?
I just ordered FM HEaven, its a quarter the price of FM7. I can only get 2 or 3 voices from both VSTi's when using cubase and reason so thought id go for the cheaper option
