I made it myself and it was very scrumptious.
It had in it:
yoghurt mixed vegetables garam masala powder tinned tomatoes mung beans
it was so filling and enjoyable and satisfying to know that I made it myself, too.
Just thought you would like to know...
I think you'd have enjoyed it, Freqy. What kinda stuff do you put in your curries, btw? :)

Hm, I have two little quibbles with what you say. :)
If you have water while you eat something spicy, it just kinda makes it worse, cos you don't get used to the spiciness. But if you save it 'til the end it is goo! :D
Also, I am not sure about putting the veg in at the end. Cos then it doesn't absorb the sauce at all... :( But broccoli is ace! XD I like broccoli. :)
With the rice, do you use veg stock cube? I did once, but never again, cos I think it is kinda unnecessary and expensive, really...
and OLIVES? :O multi-cultural, not allowed... I do like olives, though ;)
What kind of curry powder do you use?
First I used one that is sold in supermarket- nice, but very expensive... it was special one, like Tikka or Madras or something. Generic 'curry power' is cheaper, but I haven't got that yet.
I got my most recent curry powder from a Turkish market shop down the road. It is simple and cheap. :)
Making curries is FUUUUUUUNNNNN! :D XD :D

i had a red thai curry today with zucchini and parika and mungbean sprouts. i used a red curry paste and added coconut milk, fish sauce, thai basil and some brown sugar. its pretty easy but the clou is the thai basil, its superlicious.
my mother liked it too.

Fish is for sillies...
Glad your mum enjoyed it, though. I don't ever recall cooking for mine, but maybe i will next time I am home.
Hm, I don't think I have ever seen mung bean sprouts before. Can you get them at supermarket and if so, are they expensive?
Interesting ingredients though, definitely. :) I will have to try my own with a similar recipe soon.

I went out for a curry earlier and it was really greasy. It had chicken and lamb in it and I drank beer and wine and laughed heartily. It sounds better than yours if I'm honest.

haha, recently i have been enjoying indian food, but i normaly do mad fry ups
Pulseclock made a drawing of a lobster for my idea for a hoody, but at the moment i am trying to get my idea across to a company in hongkong, i need to get someone to translate my letters because it seems they don't know exactly what i want
i am just going to order some samples at first and see how they sell. i want to use good materials and make it more than just a standard hoody, ya know?

mungbean sprouts are best bought at an asian supermarket, ive never seen fresh ones anywhere else and never used the ones in a can or glass. the fresh ones cost nearly nothing, like 30 cts for two big hand full. they dont add any
taste really, but i find them essential in asian food & they re fun to chew on :)

tratern firstly i do not agrree with two posts you made about curryness...no.1 I absolutley do not......only kiddin.. lol :P
whatever :p water is fun .and brocceli is nice cause it holds fresh water to cool me down in the curry heat. Also> add chopped apple to the side of the plate and fork a piece now n then with your curry and naan.
i like the cool things whist i eat the hot. its fun .....add soya ice cream too if you have some a blob to dip your broccli into . so tastey and sweet.
byezzzee :P

The water in the Broccoli will magnify the effect of the capsicum. You need some Raita to calm your taste buds down if you are a big girls shirt.

I'm waiting for take away Thai curry right now. I prefer Thai curry to Indian curry but Indian cuisine to Thai cuisine. I would go for some lamb korma and garlic and herbs naan bread if I knew a good place around here. Thai and Indian are my two favorite cuisines.
