Hey, it's my UK head publicist!!! Thanks.

Almost finished with an indie film poster and got some
paintings from last year which for some reason aren't up...
like Spongebob, Hendrix, Benjamin Franklin, etc.

It's pleasant to know that actual talented people post here
and share their work with us. There's not much of that here
if you know what I mean.

Make sure to post that poster when it's finished and you
have the time.

do you have a job related to your Illustrations? Or do you
mostly freelance with a side job or w/e?

i've been trying to get an internship somewhere but it seems
the Illustration job market is very limited

Pawel haha

pulseclock Thanks! The stuff on the main page is all
pencil. On the paintings and ridonkulous paintings, Painter
mostly. And I have no job related to my art, though I
sometimes do freelance work. If you want to be an
illustrator for some publication, most magazines accept
portfolio submissions and mailers. So find the magazine(s)
and look in the front/back for Art Director or related
address, then send your stuff.

What kind of magazines would you submit your stuff to? Like
Juxtapoz or something?

Also, do you like Ashley Woods' stuff?

Well, you mentioned "the illustration job market", so I was
assuming you meant editorial or related freelance
illustration jobs. I'm talking about Rolling Stone,
Newsweek, SPIN, and the hundreds of other magazines out
there that need illustrations for their articles. If you
want to be a fine artist, then you have to let people know
about your work (online or off) and also submit stuff to
galleries. Just get out there in general, and then people
will start to contact you for all sorts of shit.

Though, I have submitted to Juxtapoz for their Reader Art
section, and they did feature me, which helped with
exposure:

But being a fine artist and illustrator are pretty
different. It's much easier to be an illustrator, as
there's a lot of generic art that needs to be done.

Yah, Ashley Wood does great work, but I haven't checked out
his stuff (until now) since he did all his popbot work.
