Maybe you could take comfort in knowing i'm going to die too
and it's not something i look forward to. :)

just realize that it will be peaceful once it's done, and
then who knows maybe you'll be reborn again, to the vibrance
and newness of birth!

you shouldn't seek a solution because it's not a problem
our problem is our definition of the self i suppose
but it's too much of a hassle to change it so you should
just do something to forget about it, there's nothing wrong
with denial, especially in this case
play some tetris, it's excellent for this

or,

to never have been born may be the greatest boon of all... ?

i like this - "you shouldn't seek a solution because it's
not a problem"

but how are humans in denial when they ponder death or the
self?

well it's not like you are born from the earth (in the sense
of actual physical birth) You are born from your parents, so
to never be born at all is kind of a wierd thought, because
you're just a product of your parents, so really you are
just your parents! I sympathize with people who have
problems with parents. Also with people who love their
parents so much that they don't want them to die.

LIFE IS CRAZY YO

i'm joking a bit here. it's not like i'm thinking about
death everyday like george costanza or whatever. i don't
think i have a bigger fear of it than average.

as a matter of fact i don't fear it at all. i think of it as
a release into nothing, just like the time before you were
born.

Do you believe you are physical? Then why science cant
explain human mind? Are we not advanced enough? Yes maybe,
but my intuition tells me that we never answer questions
like "what I am?", because my mind resists to approve that
my mind is just a program. If we are just programs, why we
cant understand our self and our function? I think it is
because we surrounded by infinite possibilities so we are
not just 'machines'.

So if we are not machines, who are we? What is life then?

I mean that if we wana understand death (the end of our
selfs) firs we have to know who we are.

"Do you believe you are physical?"

Yes.

"Then why science cant explain human mind? Are we not
advanced enough?"

Yes, possibly. It requires technology to decipher and
understand brain functions.

The rest of what you wrote I don't understand. Define
"machine" and "program" and we might get a conversation
going.

Yes it's quite common that programs are self aware.

By saying you are physical, you mean when you die you became
just organic and other materials?

Program is thing who do what it suppose to do. We are not
programs, because we cant know what to do, whats is our goal
in life, nobody knows, maybe there is no such thing but that
is another reason why we are not programs.

Machine is mechanism functioning by laws of physics and
therefore machines movement could be predicted by using
math.

programs are not self aware. it's the computer scientist's
hope to create self aware software at some point, but
frankly i don't believe it's even possible, at least not
with the theories we can imagine as of today.
on the other hand, we are building this very organic
internet machine, which is part of our evolution and which
we probably never will be able to understand, because we're
only the cells in this thing.

"By saying you are physical, you mean when you die you

My body exists physically here and now. That is all I know,
relying on my senses. What happens when I die? I have no
idea. But I don't believe in metaphysics or religion, so my
answer would be absolutely nothing.

Frankly, I don't understand why you introduce terms like
program and machine when talking about existence. We have
sciences which research the human body. They're called
biology and psychology.

scientific method is not answer... Because with tools and
scenes you can only examine physical world. There is another
world which is beyond science space, mater and time. I
believe we just cant look out of the box, because we are
limited by our scenes and brain.

Science will discover more about our world and how it works
but with every new finding we will face hundreds new
unanswered questions. Buy this kind of statistic proof, I
claim, we not meant to know world.
