i went to see it with this girl. i had no idea it was such
an intense love story... but anyways, she said she didn't
really like it and i knew then that there was not much going
to come of our relationship.

that's funny when movies do that. when my girl likes movies
i can't stand, i kind of sit back and go, dear God, she
likes pearl harbor?! oh no! (but she did love amelie. she
actually went back with a friend like the next day to watch
it again ... without me ...)

Followup toClobe Smith

Yeah i had to sit through pearl harbor too. I'm reminded of
a quote I saw on whateverdude.com:

"an unspoken code of men who know what it’s like to have
to rent bullshit teen dramas, in an attempt to secure sex
after an hour and a half of mental torture"

City of lost children. What can i say. Brilliant like the
rest of his stuff.

it has a wery unique visual style, and a fucked up story.
Ron pearlman, and the rest of the jean paul gang is in it.
you know that little guy that sits in a wheelchair in alien?
