I think my first cassette was the soundtrack for Beetlejuice
when I was like 5 or 6. Either that or MC Hammer, around the
same age.

it's ultra cheezy XD

it's at least 7-8-9 years older than the cd, i remember
listening to Sadeness (Part 1) over and over cos of the
sexy voice

and disliking The Exorcist, liking Pop Corn..

i believe the first tape i actually consciously owned was
MJ's Black or White. I remember being totally freaked out by
listening to it on headphones at night when the batteries
went weak and it got slower with creepy tremolo…
never got a microscope though. microscopes are rad.

now that i think about that, i begun to skip tracks i
dislike from the start. but if it wasn't for those
couples/triplets track in a row this thread wouldn't exist.
this is why the artists enocurage the listener to play the
whole album as a whole i think. this is also meant to be a
disclaimer to all the unnecessary advertisement i made for
youtube, but as long as people have quick access to decent
content for quick listening purposes and without the hassle
of pirating the whole stuff, i'm not the one who looks a
given horse in the mouth.

This was one of the first tapes I bought. I
usually bought vinyls and taped them off of my dad's
Technics turntable to his cassette recorder, which was a
decent enough Sanyo Hifi deck.
