Guys, I come to you today to speak about an album.
It's not new, I've been listening to it for years now.
I would like to speak about it's impact on me.

Yeah we all get a rush from a certain track..
that feel good feel.
This isn't that. This thread is not about that.

This isn't about me ranting how lush the end of world rim
walker by wisp is when it goes all acid and clear cut beat
mmmmm. orgasmic but no. I'll just get to the case in point
now.

Vladislav Delay - Anima

Oh my God. This actually fucks with my brain.
No I'm serious. It can do that. To ANYONE.

If you're familiar with vladislav delays tracks..
you know damn well what I'm getting at.
Stream-of-consciousness music.

So how does it poke and prod the mind? Easy.
When you wake up in the morning, listen to anima. if you're
used to some tracks in the morning, on the way to work,
school, in bed, whatever it is.. listen to anima. Why?

Because it's formless music, and formless music right
when you wake up.. it does some funky shit to your head.

Synaesthesia, nostalgia, disjointed thoughts, sounds turning
into thoughts-images. so amazing. so different.

question: what movie is sampled in this album?

downloaded this album given the above recommendation.
although I dunno which film is sampled I can agree that this
album is fucking quality. sounds like the same synth swell
is just repeated over and over again but to a state of
euphoric relaxation. 'lush' being an overused word to
describe this sort of music but this album warrants that
label

Sasu Ripatti is scandinavia's best electronic producer imo.

Anima used to be a big fave to listen to in bed.
