hello…
i'm spamming a little software here.
I've built this to apply for an art school… try it if you
like, i hope it works.
Mac
Win

right click to launch a new window (up to 4). click and drag
to move them around… you can also throw them if you
release the mouse button at the right moment.

that is all.

does the sound work?
how does the number of windows affect performance?
do you like it?

you should look into vmware so you can test this stuff
yourself..

doesn't really work properly on winxp but I somewhat liked
the audio shifting that was happening

:( yea i tried it on a friend's xp pc too now and it froze
terribly (which shouldn't happen, in theory)
meh, so it's Mac only.

Oh and my performance didn't noticeably drop with four
windows open.

I'm on a 24'' intel imac (2006) and it got quite slow with 4
windows, wasn't too bad with 3, no noticeable slowdown with
2/1. it's fun and sounds great, congs and good luck with the
application

^ yeah this sounds like it's running normal… got some
noticeable slowdown on a '08 mbp with 4 windows too.
thanks!

here's a linux version (untested though)

and something entirely else, but also application spam: a software
reworking of a film i did in 2007...

That's cool. How does it work, I'm assuming it's image based
seeing as when I zoomed in it went down in quality, do the
images extrude due to some data in them?

it's fairly simple: first i wrote a small tool to extract
stills from the original video (see vimeo link) every 10
seconds and get rid of the background, then in the actual
app the images are aligned spatially. no fancy extruding
involved… you can see how it's normal images when you put
the cam perpendicular to the model.

:]

appreciated. low self esteem made me curl into a ball the
last five months…
basically it all started when i applied for an internship at
Alva Noto and also Monolake, and turned into a stupid
frustrated/depressed/anxious meat sack when there was no
response… now it's time to start over etc…. i actually
met Monolake Robert Henke at ctm in Berlin last weekend, and
i don't think i'd like him anyway….
/end story of Terence Hill's life
