(Talking about the prodigy remake)

Hounestly, all this trouble to remake a song? Is this what
"DJs" do with their time? What a butchering btw.

I wana ask about sound sythesis methodology.
How sounds are categorized? For example do certain saw and
sine wave have certain diapazone in which they are named in
certain name? I dont even know how to formulate question
properly?
Is there certain diapason of sounds which can be called acid
sounds?

What methods do you know for extracting certain sound from
complex wave? For example I know that if you have one sound
from certain track you can delete that sound from track by
inverting that sound and adding it to original track. This
method, I heard, is used in spying technology, used to
listen other people by eliminating unnecessary sounds.

Lets see how interesting you rly are ;)

what's sad about this is all that flaming going on around
that video.

it actually shows A LOT. firstly the fact that liam really
had to listen to an awful lot of records (good records) so
he could find those samples. secondly liam did all this on a
sampler without adanced editing tools which was much less
convenient. last but not least it shows how easy you can do
stuff in ableton. actually you can do everything.

I don't see any point in dissing this. People are grumpy.
One video was enough though.

What did Liam use to load and chop the samples? All the
hardware samplers I've seen have tiny screens but then again
I have no idea how the UI works on those things.

midi , sample start ...or cut up the sample into pieces
(with a jog wheel thingy) place on other keys and trigger
via midi.

this is what amazes me about bands like this, future sound
of london and the orb, allot of hard work..

lots of talent. patience , passion , solitude. focus time
etc
but how many people can do this to that level ?, not many.
