bassareus ep
(track five, 'archon', is slightly loudly mastered than the rest, so please turn down the volume a little before it begins.)
Enjoy!

So some general critiques; First of all, every song has some wonderful, interesting melodies. All of the tracks are beautiful and could easily go in some kind of RPG. I think most of the tracks should be longer, especially the great year track.
gems and archon have really incredible melody lines, but the instrumentation is really quite bad in some respects. The flute and piano sound good but the strings sound really really fake, I don't know if that was the intention but I feel it hurts the tracks. Besides that I think these are great opening tracks.
The olymp12 track is awesome, I love the use of the pentatonic scale. Wish I had this when I was traveling around Japan a couple of months ago. The strings are such a beautiful accent to the already cool track. I love when the drums cut out at the end.
Flora is my favorite, I love the mode you worked in and the sounds really go well with each other. This has that innocence that you had in the other track you posted previously. Really awesome!
I think wine, suffers from the same issues that the first two mentioned tracks suffer from. The instrumentation is weak, but the melody is still really cool. I think this track needs more reverb as well, it sounds really flat.
So that is my humble opinion, I thank you for sharing I feel there are some really beautiful catchy moments in every song!

Wow, thanks, man. :)
Yeah, I know about the strings in 'gems'. I'm still experimenting with the sounds to try to get it to sound authentic. I built the ep around 'flora' as a contextual basis of sorts, and went from there.
Really, thanks. I don't know what to say. :D I'll see what I can do with your helpful advice. Have a nice day!
