Hi indeksical,Im reading about how the american legal system
would punish cojoined twins if one twin committed a murder
and the other twin was innocent.
Bye.

Its not really been established. The cojoined twin represents
too much of a paradox.I think, underneath all the legal
jargon, the high courts are just holding their dicks and
praying that it never happens.

long as I could be the pretty one.

great, cold, tired
still listening to the 4 eps
we got a bazillion inches of snow
and another 3.5" of new so i took Mr. Braeden out to the big
hill
that has 10 steps up to a metal slide, 5 degrees out but we
had those
hoddies that cover your entire face but eyes. ummm he will
be 4 in march, he is wonderful fun "i wanna do it by myself"
crap.
played for 2 hours warmed up in car then headed back out for
an hour

dude runs around the house in winter time in his undies,
doesnt
get cold, what gives?

so you're doing the interactive tutorials thingie or just
read?
when i started out i did like the first twenty or so lessons
and was kinda confused and repelled, but then when starting
out a first project with a defined goal it all came together
and was fun, so i strongly recommend that you actually build
something yourself with the knowledge you got so far.

personally i find it really hard to step back from learning
and just produce, produce and produce instead, i.e. there
are so many topics and it's a TRAP thinking that "oh... if i
want to do *this* i need to learn *this* and oh *that* too,
and i also *really* need this special gadget so hard
etc...". so right now i'm reading three books about
different hard-to-digest topics and it's all very confusing
again :D

that said, IMO don't keep yourself restricted to Max. Many
people seem to think it's a good starting point for
programming, because it's graphical etc... it maybe gives
you a head start in that it has many useful pre-built
objects, but these definitely come with downfalls, imo the
biggest one that you have to adjust your mind to what the
cycling74 company thinks is a good approach to programming.
whereas in most text-based languages you can do anything Max
can, but in your own ways. And it's not necessarily more
difficult etc. blah.

the learning plan (remember it's the first italian max
manual ever, and the same author did the only italian
c-sound manual ever) is like: synthesis introduction theory
--> synthesis introduction practice, additive synthesis
theory --> additive synthesis practice

and so on

it's smart, if you don't remember a concept when it comes to
build a patch, you can easily recall the theory pages cos
they're near the related practice pages. doing this
kind of back and forth is doing the job for me. mentally
it's like a puzzle, you wonder around and when you find the
piece you need other figures take a shape.

i've thought well before buying this, then i bought just to
take the piz. first program i purchase, its nuts. and if you
stop learning for a week, you're fucked. but i'm just
growing in perseverance mostly. there always more
advanced/less expensive things around but considering all, i
think for teh moment this is the best scenario i could get,
i just couldn't ask my mind to get into coding. i can't wait
to fuck up breaks with this shit :)
