amzing, i love sound sculputes. those with long tentacles reminds me a gigantic installation oustide the Rejna Sofia museum in Madrid, i think i visited a couple years ago; it wasn't meant to produce any harmony in particular (it made only mechanical noise and it wasn't syncronized), it was more something about patterns of movement, with those metallic filaments coming down the entire height of the building. very catchy to see. anyway,
i've heard interesting sound installations in the Argentinian pavilion of the Biennale of Venezia, too. you have to be there once if you ever pass from italy. i barely remember i was caught into a room with photocells and hidden speakers behind the walls, the game consisting in positioning you in different places in the room to hear particular noises, or mixes of them. i can't remember more cos i was too stoned, but i remember thinking 'my god' or smth.
thanks for the link atty's :)

I must have enjoyed them as I watched and listened to the lot. I like the quieter one and I didn't need to hear the one with woodworm as my house was once riddled with termites and it sounded like that without amplification.
