unlike depression stupidity is a vague concept that cannot be clinically evaluated so it is not possible to answer this question but you might want to study the correlation between IQ and depression rates though IQ is not actually a measure of intelligence or stupidity |

Not only physical and mental abilities can be caouse of depresion, world and persons ignorance can be sourses of unhappyness too. So, I believe, we looking at more complex system with more variables, than just "liniar" phenomenon. Maybe IQ alone is not a factor. |
