Why dont you put out a big ass flag that says 'Pick on me, im a target'. Just the simple fact that you put a message up like this on your board is evidence enough that not all Americans should have the right to execute their power of free-speech. Dumb shit like this is the EXACT reason that why so many people give us such a hard time when we go anywhere else. America is my homeland and I swore I would defend it, but between us accidently killing all the wrong people every time there is a 'crisis' and guys like you shouting to the World "look at me, Im American, arent we the best?", its no wonder that nobody else in the world likes us. So many Americans think that we are just the center of the universe and that everything revolves around us, well, we arent and it doesnt. Yes there are things from home that I like, but Ive found so much good everywhere else Ive been, things that could just never be in America. The music festivals in Europe for example. How is it that all of these people can get together in huge numbers and just be cool with strangers and hang out. We try it (Woodstock '99) and we burn cars, fight the police and rape and fight one another. I just dont understand. So when a bunch of people come in here and rip your message dont be suprised, you asked for it. And that has nothing to do with Aphex Twin anyway. |

justin, honey, look; there is no need to make yourself look like such a fool in front of the international crowd that gathers here. i, by NO MEANS am not happy to be here.. to me america is the spawn of many evil large businesses (who unjustly owns half the fucking world), and the playground for ignorant self rightous politicians and the like.... i hate to say this, but it is people like who feel they have to advertise their citizenship the the US that make the rest of us look retarded... that does not erase the fact that most americans are.... now, take it from me kid, i have LIVED out of the US for a good part of my young life and i have SEEN the ignorance and stupidity that dribbles from the good'ol USofA and it makes me sick.... maybe it is time to travel overseas, and i am not talking Canada (not that it is a bad place or any thing, i've been there, it is a FINE counrty) or South America... this little trip will help open your patriot eyes to a whole new world (literally).. and if you ever do get the chance to travel, make sure you do not act like a godamn american tourist.. be low key and respectful... that is all i have to say about that, sorry, i know it was quite prolix....... |

I think that America is an ok place, although I found that the stereotype of most americans being ignorant and self-absorbed and.. well dumb was true. Mostly anyway, I went through 22 states in two months and saw a lot of things and met a lot of people. It was a really good time, and I enjoyed myself. But everywhere I went it was.... just not proper. It seemed like a whole different world to me in a sense, all the small things were different, so it was really weird. Right down to the damn chocolate bars.. different. I think that many countries are good, and have their qualities about them. But I know a few Americans and that attitude that they have does seem like everything does, or rather should revolve around them, and their country... or its ways. Don't get me wrong America is a good place, but Id have to agree with people that would say its less than it is more. Just my opinion. Im up here in Canada, and Im lovin' It. |

...honestly, I could sit here all night long and rag on the British society. What with your dirty teeth and all. ;) [kidding] Regardless if you, or someone went through all fifty states here in the U.S., it all depends on where you travel. Simply carting yourself around the countryside expecting to see great signs of intelligence is pointless. I can enjoy myself in London, but just like here in the states, morons are everywhere. ...aphex twin is fantastic. Infact, I listen to almost everything except "country" music here in the U.S. That's the one thing I'm completely ashamed of being somewhat apart of. That damn music has given this country an ethnocentric reputation for being cow-boys. It's all garbage. But if you want comparisons... REALLY... ...some of your movies are great. ....but we make much better ones. ;) That among many other things, small and large. As you have over us as well. See, what Im saying is that you have to really have been in some place to judge it. I mean, ive only been ALL over Canada, and ALL over the states. And I like both a lot for different reasons. They both differ in so many ways, almost all ways. They are 2 completly different countries. America is a nice place, I don't think its fair to assume that all americans are stupid, reading level of gr 3, lame people. That all listen to rock/hillbilly tunes and drink BUD and sit on their porch. And I mean... people who don't know what their talking about. Every country, almost, has their own ways, and there is always cool stuff/people around. Canada is awsome, America is cool.
