What's your musical holy grail?

What's the most prized piece of music you own or are
searching for?

I read about some music that RDJ lost on a plane. It had
some Squarepusher stuff on there too. That would be
amazing. Of course some flight attendant probably found
it.

I'll think of more cool stuff later.

Definitely Refused-The Shape of Punk to Come. I've probably
listened to "The Deadly Rhythm" at least 200 times and it
still hasn't gotten old. Refused is perfect music if you're
really pissed off.

All of the old boards of canada stuff, although I don't
think I'll be so lucky....unless they decide to release it
all again. :)

some early chain reaction/basic channel records would be
cool too.

Definitely the Beatles White Album. I remember listening to
it for the first time, so many songs and styles... eclectic
shit. Beautiful cover art (pure white, doesn't get any
better) and kick ass inserts (Beatle photos and a kick ass
booklet/poster), you can't lose. Oh yeah, and flawless
music.

is it the white album where they backmasked shit like "paul
is dead" or am i mistaken for another record of theirs. i
know they did quite a bit of this, much like what boards of
canada does in 1969 for example.

Definately the Misfits Black Coffin Box set. I remember
listening for the first time, so many songs and
screams...scary shit. Beautiful cover art (pure black,
doesn´t get any better) and kick ass inserts (Misfits
photos and a kick ass find club pin), you can´t lose. Oh
yeah, and flawless howls.

There's LOTS of Paul is Dead clues in it, and lots of
Charles Manson shit in it. It's got everything... lots of
backward passages that hint at Paul's death, yeah... it's
insane. I wish there was a band like that nowadays. :-(

I want a copy of Bomb the Bass' 'Bug Powder Dust' on 12"
with the K & D remix. The only one I found was badly
scratched. I hate people who mistreat records. They should
be shot until dead...

... then cut up with the vinyl they so carelessly damaged.

Heard this on the radio, I must have it but I don't think
it's available anymore.
Maybe one day on a P2P network I'll find it...

I've got a bootleg tape of old napalm death containing their
edinburgh gig, some belgium gig (I also got that one on
vinyl), some guitar tracks and two rehearsal songs (one
being Siege's "Break down the walls")

Would kill for Merzbow's Merzbox even though it's not
exactly rare, but the price of about $500 is somewhat
offputting

I think French Kiss came out in '89 (if that's what you were
referring to).

I remember one time 'Sex with Your Parents' by Lou Reed came
on the radio when I was in the car with my dad.
