school

i reckon i would've developed a love for learning without
being forced into school. i don't think it's right that
school is mandatory. it's basically just part of the power
structure because employers want proof you're indoctrinated
so they can take advantage of you. healthier and more
practical learning would be just exploring your surroundings
to your satisfaction; you don't need to be exposed to canon.

nowadays i think school (esp in the early years) is more of
a social development tool than anything else.

'School got in the way of my education'
(Can't find that quote word-for-word)

"I am not young enough to know everything."
(particularly relevant, as you learn 95% of everything you
will ever know in your first 7 years, or something like
that. As a young child, anyway)

both quotes; Oscar Wilde

Not for not going to school. Cos he had sex with men.

Learn outside school, just don't have sex with men and
you'll be okay. :)

I hate the way that creativity is not taught at all in
schools. Even in Art you just copy other people's work... :(

I like Steiner schools though, cos they incorporate
creativity into every lesson. Especially the younger kids,
like up to primary school age. I know this cos I did
observation in a Steiner school for 6 weeks.

basic stuff like that.

You just have to know that your brain could be destroyed at
any moment, Just watch the kennedy assassination once and
you'll understand. So any little problem or bad experience
that plagues you is as meaningless as your sense of self.
People might find it more beneficial to use their actual
energy they possess to do things that can either help
somebody, or do something that makes themselves feel good.
Energy meaning willpower + lifeforce? I dunno

aw, thanks. that was a good experience. it's pretty easy to
make good or bad experiences when you talk a language which
is not your native one, but it has lotsa advantages too. i
can see language stuff happening 'from the outside' and
compare it to mine

i took my graphics diploma at your age, but i jumped two
years in between for the compulsory military service

btw, it is cool that you speak two languages. Do you speak

it is understandable that you would have a little trouble
with expression. Wish I could speak another language...

Man, I would freaking hate to do compulsory military
service. Although I can kinda see it having maybe a positive
influence on my life. I would prolly look upon it as a
positive experience. Long as I didn't have to go to war, a
course.

What was your like?
