Name off some movies that cut you open and made you bawl,
want to puke etc...not soulless fun or any of that crap.
The credits are rolling, and your face is puffy from the
tears and your hands are shaking. Probably none idk..I feel
emotionally inept..need some cinematic therapy

no, quite the opposite actually. i admit that it is much
less of an Aronofsky film than Pi and Requiem For A Dream,
but then again it is much more of an Aronofsky film
than The Wrestler was.

I might check it out then. I hate this fucking director

The elephant man makes me cry. Jacob's Ladder comes to
mind.

I cry a lot to movies.

there's still some Aronofsky-ness in the shots and the
lighting (Matthew Libatique is still the DP) but there's
hardly any hip-hop montage. only very very vague references
to it.

Elephant Man is movie that comes to mind that makes me
cry...ordering it on amazon now.
Jacob's Ladder was quite spooky, and sad too. Had it but my
crazy mother threw all the horror/scifi stuff of my
collection in the fire when I was 16..fucking bitch

The Fountain is horribly underrated, reminds me of 2001 when
it was first released... and it did get me teary-eyed as i'm
such a romantic softie.

offline RussellDust on 2009-12-21 21:41 [#02353358]

Yeah both nauseabond films. K-pax is on par even without
that annoying child. I think i laughed at K-pax it was so
crap. Pay it forward is just a sigh. Kevin Spacey was good
in 7even and mildly ok in american beauty but boy do i now
hate the guy. this makes me laugh. (been posted
before, i'm recycling). The Marlon Brando one is quite good
too.

I was totally hoping for Annette Bening to shoot him in
American Beauty, or at least cut his balls off. Something,
anything to relieve the tedium of watching the paint dry on
the cliches.

Yeah, Kevin Spacey was goddamn plastic encased line-shitter
in American Beauty...same with The Usual
Suspects...good..but as corny as the shit I took yesterday
morning

I'm gleeful! it only looks like malice to victims or
bystanders.

I got the 21" iMac. It's fantastic, love it. The display is
beautiful, it's fast and most of the software I used in
Windows comes in Mac flavor. The only thing I don't like is
iTunes.

I wish i could help on the itunes front. Have you tried
various other things?
