I have a linksys befw11s4 v3 wireless access point router
and comcast highspeed ....... i have a small home network
hooked up the main pc is connected and the second one says
its connected @ 100mpbs but i cannot access the net i keep
getting a dns error ...... I have tried everything i know
from shutting everything down and restarting to reconnecting
cables to make sure the connection is good to pinging the
network and so on and so on ....... nothing seems to work at
all my os is xp pro on pc 1 and xp home on pc 2 everything
seems to be in order but it wont let me access the web .....
helppppppppp !!!!!!!!!

p.s. im using the uplink port because the wan port will not
allow any access on any pc so i cant use port 4 in this case
just 1 2 and 3 ports but ive done everything right and it
still wont work .............

"Get a goddamn job, Al!"

You have to assertively thump the router 5 times with a
clenched fist, equally spaced, leaving a few seconds between
each blow.

Then again, I think the first thread I made on here (or one
of the first) was about vegan-ism. Which clearly has nothing
to do with Electronic music, or any type of music at all.
Didn't go down too welll.... :D

There is a chance, however infinitesimal, that "lmt69jr"
asked for help on every other forum on the internet, and
tried zilty as a last resort. It probably didn't pan out
like he had hoped.

try setting up your router to use an alternative dns server
like opendns.
