Kinda annoys me that people are seen to be sum of their sexual orientation or disability or religion. Not gays, but gay PEOPLE! Not disabled, but PEOPLE with disabilities. Not Jews, but jewish PEOPLE! A completely different model for a different perspective on certain groups. It's called the social model, rather than the medical model. :) |
