And Hanal, I enjoyed every minute of it. Have you got the
tracklisting to HanBreaks?

reciprocate, rest assured I do greatly appreciate the good

I'm very into "Krautrock" (Awful genre name), and bands like
Can and Faust are real gems. Tago Mago and Ege Bamyasi are
amazing. Paperhouse.

Damo Suzuki is a huge fave in this house. I think even my
dog likes him.
As for the term 'Krautrock', it's horrid.

Krautrock as a name is like IDM, an awful name for a
collection of musical movements that are loosely similar.
Brian Eno's work with Cluster is classic.

krautrock is possibly the worst name ever given to a music

It's not even accurate. The work of Can is almost completely
different to the work of Cluster or even Neu! but they all
seem to be lumped as "Krautrock" because they erupt from the
same period of experimental music in Germany. It's the same
of "IDM" which was basically someone going "there's some
people mixing elements of acid, ambient and breakbeat and
acibienbeat is an awful name," even though "IDM" is awful as
it goes beyond that - LFO, Aphex Twin, Autechre and the rest
of the familiars weren't really stylistically the same.
Rubbish nomenclature rant.

Very true. Bloody NME and Melody Maker and so on. They
really need to put everything in genres don't they? I guess
otherwise they get all confused.

I don't really apply genres to music, it just gives you a
border that shouldn't exist.

Enough of this gay banter, what's all this about me knowing
