Moby is a fucking idiot. Spends half a minute raving about paia and how nobody has ever heard of them. Then spends 2 minutes talking about how he likes drum machines because they are unlike anything you can get in software because their beats are pre programed and awkward to work around, and that spawns creativity and the like. Then he proceeds to explain how he samples them and sequences the sounds in software. That interview made me mad for a lot of reasons, but those were the ones that stood out. |
