Another moment that stands out was on the same trip. Got
into our canoes right after breakfast to see an albino wolf;
most beautiful creature I've ever seen. We drifted slowly
downstream in silence and the wolf stared at us, walked
swiftly ahead, stared some more, went into the woods and
returned to stare again, and then left for good. This was
the only significant wildlife we had seen in two weeks of
roughin it deep, so we were all in awe and soon after a huge
white bird that for some reason no one was able to identify
flew in front of us. The final moment I don't need to
describe was watching sunrise at the Grand Canyon from a
secluded peninsula. I guess that's one of those universal
moments that many have experiences, which is a nice thing to
keep in mind when it's happening.

That was THE shit of my life. I dug a hole in the deep moss
and sat down on the toilet of God. Doesn't get any better!

You can say that again! It's just a pity you didn't get a
neptunes kiss (A splash back) that would be the icing on the
pre-verbial shit cake.

The most beautiful thing I've ever seen is the view from
Glacier Point in Yosemite on a clear day.

Second most beautiful was a rainbow seen over Dun Aengus in
Ireland, it was really a combination of wind, rain, sun and
cloud that made it so unforgettable.

on a canoeing trip at camp.. out in the middle of no-where,
at this quiet corner of a lake.. at like 6 in the morning
when the sun is just coming up and the mist is rising of the
water which is PERFECTLY still so it looks like a perfect
mirror and it reflects the sunrise.. and everything is SO
still and beautiful

oh, and THIS for sure:
