have crafted a very nice persona for themselves.

i mean, it's so rare to see pics with people in a normal
posture that it seems unnatural

The only thing weird on that photo is they're both bugeyed
and aren't very natural but that's the image they want to
project to the public.

Donald's boring, his music's good. But I don't like that a
Dopplereffekt live experience isn't bragable anymore. (I've
heard them twice.)

This is true, unfortunately his music is also getting well
boring, very formulaic, how many times does he has to put
those choral "Aahs", pan flutes, 3 note bass lines? His 90's
work was very much Computer World inspired and later in the
2000's he made a style shift, to me the combination of both
is the best, tracks like Drone FX are some of the very
best.

Anyway, really hope he puts out those Arpanet unreleased
tracks he played at Geode, this track its still my favorite
after all these years, Arpanet Geode

its blind speculation on my part (i have no idea how old any
of the material is, or who made what, or when), but there's
a noticeable style change in d.e./d.z./around the time James
Stinson passed away in 2002

i hope all of those tracks are released too

Yes that speculation is well valid. That track was played on
a few live sets, he even added some extra layers.

Here's the link to the live set that was recorded by a radio
station so the quality is a little better than the youtube
clips, it's the second track:

i didn't like the interview, it made me feel cold and
emotionless, i want to know if gerald was picked on in
middle school and who he asked to the prom, and if he has
any cute pets that he likes

that's a really nice bit there. Arpanet's best release still
remains Quantum Transposition. after that, i feel their
style became a bit redundant. a bit paradoxal, as that's
what Gerald seems to want to avoid. i'm betting there'll be
some refreshing sounds from that corner again sooner or
later, though. he's proven himself plenty.
