anyone add spices to food?

I've been using the various mixes ( curry) from supermarkets
its rather nice to add to tomatoes/sauces , just been
reading many are good for you too.

heres some info

Ive no idea 'how much' is good for the body , but its fun
trying them out.

I have a dry stores with 2 shelves full of takeaway
containers full of indian spices, and sackfuls of lentils,
chickpeas and flour. It's the only way to eat ..
sustainable, healthy, tastes fantastic, and you can get by
on almost $0 once you're set up.

expensive but nice :

schwartz

Coriander Seed (31%), Cumin (15%), Fenugreek, Mustard Seed,
Ginger (8%), Garlic Powder, Salt, Bay Leaves, Turmeric,
Cayenne Pepper, Spices, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Black Pepper.

the only drawback is that you start to smell, and drop
killer farts all day long.

my partner and me had homemade garlic naan for breakfast at
uni - which means it used about 15 cloves. no-one would sit
anywhere near us :)

I could eat Thai curry 3 meals a day, 365 days a year.

Panang, Massaman, Red, Green, Yellow etc etc.... Just put it
down a funnel and I'll chug it.

Indian food is wonderful as well.

just like the twin, i often make thai curry as well. it
costs a bit more than indian (have to buy coconut milk), but
it's easier to prepare and can accept just about any
vegetable you have on hand. my favorite is the red shit. i
must say, it tastes so good to me.

make sure to use small lentils, they're the tastier. i
reccomend the ones from Catelluccio for instance.

take a medium pot full of water, put the lentils in it,
along with a clove of garlic, a grape tomato, some celery,
extravirgin olive oil and salt at wish. cook for 20/25
minutes and report back.

just one or two small tomatoes and a clove of garlic, for
the taste

make sure there are max. 2 or 3 fingers of water above the
lentils

spices are terrible, they taste like stuff and whatnot.

the only real spice is sand.

have you tried? it will blow your mind maybe. Or are you one
of those lucky persons who got sand when they were young?
my parents didn't allow sand back then.
