Tainted Love is an absolute classic, I enjoy the original
and the cover by Soft Cell the most, and the cover by
Coil is haunting.

I've seen Coil twice. I felt it but it's too much for me to
cope with. It's too close to home for entertainment.

I wish I had a chance to see them live, the recordings I
have sound like Balance's ideas of humour and passion -
after covering "Bang Bang", Jhonn jokes: "That was dedicated
to Courtney Love".

I'll ask my mate tomorrow for his recordings, it's great to
listen to after but it's pretty disturbing seeing it live
even though I was lost in the moment.

listening now. Seeing Genesis and the audience is great and
mental! Was that Genesis singing? Sounded too good!

It's Jhonn Balance, and he is very good at talking to the
crowd, a man with wit, too.

On the subject of cover versions, I also enjoy Gary Numan's
old band (Tubeway Army) covering White Light / White Heat by
the Velvet Underground.
