To continue the theme of Cliff's £10 notes; Once, I went to an ATM to withdraw some cash. I decided £10 would be enough, took my card but not the cash, without thinking, and strolled away. I realised my mistake quite quickly and returned to the ATM to find a guy there asking me if I had just withdrawn some money. I told him yes and he gave me the £10. I was quite awe-struck at his niceness. I wanted to call him a saint, but that seemed somehow a bit OTT and a little cliched or something, I guess. Also, that was the third time (that I can remember) doing this. I don't think I have any common sense... :( |
