But the 8th line of text is

'Life of Brian (1979)'

I have underlined the one I chose. Only I didn't choose the
'a' pasted in this reply. I chose the original 'a'
that is located in the initial post.

no, the 8th line of the text is

" "

"Life of Brian (1979)" is the 12th line.

one definition of text is 'the main body of printed or
written matter on a page'.

And there aren't any " " lines with a space. They're just
void like "" with no space. "" isn't printed text matter;
its just background pixels.

You crack me up,wMw.

but in my point of view a line break which is coded with
/>
is a context in a text, even tough it is no printed(?) text
matter, it was a choice to make a line break at that part of
the text which means it shood be accepted as a part of the
text.

offline mermaidman on 2009-09-20 06:45 [#02328272]

haa br was the code, u see it just made a line break.

But 'on a page' is part of the definition and we're
referring to this page. The underlying code for the
text isn't written on this page. And really the code for a
new line has no affect on the blank line; it just affects
the position of the next line of text matter.

and I was trying to say that the position of the next line
of text matter is a choice, in your comment the "it just
affects"
part shows that your idea about a line breaks affect on a
text is that it is of no importance, yet you yourself should
also accept that there is actualy an affect that is
existing.

I change my vote to amazon women on the moon. Cuz it would
be cool if all human women on earth went to the moon then
the human species would stop reproducing and go extinct and
all other animals would breath a sigh of great relief. Not
all women are amazon women but at least that's some of them.

i guess that's not what the movie is about but that'
okay...that's cool...

I won a copy on VHS of "Amazon Women on the Moon" back in,
well I guess it must have been 1987, on the only radio phone
in quiz I've ever gone for. Maybe if I'd gone for more I
wouldn't be sat here like a dribbling fool in my own mess.
