the only cheesy electronic music most girls I meet are into
is this watered down 102324th gen indie rock. go to shows
with interesting music and they're not around either. maybe
should just get one of those douchbag crested shirts and
some tats and go to some blinged out club to commercial
house.

you're just not looking in the right places. i know plenty
of girls who like good electronic music, particularly most
of my girl friends from college.

as a matter of fact, this girl who i had been seeing (but am
not anymore) was one of my biggest groupies. lemme tell ya,
it's pretty rad when you're banging a girl and all she asks
for is for you to turn up the bass.

why don't girls like electronic music?

its because all the men who 'dig' this kind of music
are socially inept losers who spend too much time
masturbating and going on internet chat rooms, verbally
jizzing over every mention of an autechre release or some
bum-trumpet flavour of the month dupstep, hopelessly trying
to deconstruct the sound by over analyzing every fucking
note and effect until any sense of artistic value or
enjoyment has been beaten out of the music like a ginger
step-child . .

its because there's no singing in it

I think women like electro techno, house, drum and bass. but
when it comes to more abstract electronic music (like
autechre) they just don't wanna know. there was this girl i
knew that would run out of the room if we put autechre on
because the sounds were scary to her for some reason. i
think it was anvil vapre she hated it

I prefer the abstract.
Much prefer AE to anyone else you could mention as it goes.

If you make your friends listen to the awful shit you listen
to, it gives them licence to show you the awful shit they
listen to.

whenever i show my dad Aphex Twin or Autechre or others, he
just goes, "man you listen to this crazy BLEE-BAR
BOO-NYANG-POW music? (he thinks all i listen to is a series
of random noises that are discomforting and abrasive. But
when i show him stuff like Alberto Balsalm, he likes it)

Uhm, has everyone forgotton SValx and Tragedy and AFXNUMB?

Dude there are so many more albums out from undeground
abstract artists that are way more extensive in their uses
of abstraction in music, like Add N to X or computer music
composer J.K. Randall. So much to be discovered in music.

Dont doubt that pulseclock, but as Ive said before I'm a
relative newcomer to electronic music, and I fell in love
with Autechre immediately.
Give me a chance and I'm sure I'll discover a lot more.

:)
