actually, now that I think about it, the single for The
Prodigy's Poison was my first electronica purchase...

although Mezzanine by Massive Attack was my first
electronica album... I bought it back in the summer of 98 I
believe it was, right after it came out... I remember a
misses on Muchmusic held up the album, and said it was an
excellent album, and they then played teardrop (which is a
gorgeous song by the way)... so I bought it, and played
Teardrop over and over and over for ages... :)

that whole day is kinda imprinted on my brain for some
reason...

I didn't get TOTALLY into electronic music until about a
year ago when I bought In Sides by Orbital... the rest as
they say, is history...

my fist dalliance with electronic music was my copy of new
order's power, corruption & lies back in 1986

We used to have TD albums at home. TD and Kiss. "Phaedra"
and "Detroit Rock City" were my faves. I started listening
to "Phaedra" because I noticed it came out the same year I
was born, 1974.

Mine would have been either 'Experience' - prodigy, the
first Fear Factory mixes or Pretty Hate Machine... or DJ
Scorpio!

Eddy Grant - Killer on the Rampage 1982 had a lot of
electonic elements. "we gona rock down to electric
avenue/... and then we take it higher."

The first really electronic album I bout was probably
Ministry - Twitch and Ministry - The Land of Rape and Honey
1988. I got them both at the same time.

I might have got Depeche Mode - Some Great Reward just
before or after the Ministry albums.
